On Saturday, as a way to hang out as a family we took the puppies down to Hocking hills for a hike through the woods. I carried a water backpack and everyone kept drinking out of it. Austin was drinking out of it at the beginning and I kept making it hard for him by running while he was drinking. He was so annoying.
The caves were really cool. My mom had to hold Yoshi so I could climb up into one. The stairs were really steep and Trinity kept pulling me and pulling me, but I did not fall down. She was really excited about being on a hike and wanted to see what was at the bottom of the stairs. We took turns walking all three dogs.
We found all of the waterfalls were still frozen. The ice looked like a mountain at the bottom, except the warm temperature of the water falling from above was making the ice melt on the inside, hollowing it out. We got to hike up and around the frozen mountain. It was very slippery, and it was very hard to make my way around. I had to find little foot things to help me climb. When my mom said it was time to go, it was really hard.
Wow, it was a really cool day, and a really cool hike. It was the first time we have ever seen frozen waterfalls.
